What is Cryoskin?
Cryoskin is non-invasive technology which uses cooling technology to freeze and destroy fat cells and reduce fat instantly. It is pain-free and more effective than Botox. It is used to burn fat cells, boost collagen production and improve the skin’s appearance.
There are three types of Cryoskin treatments:
CryoSkin slimming is quite commonly used in areas like the stomach, thighs and arms for visible slimming decreases. This treatment focuses on one area of the body at a time. It starts with 2 minutes of heating at 40ºC, then 12 minutes of cold at -8ºC are applied to problem areas. This combination of heat and cold helps in destroying fat cells.
It consists of a three-phase thermal shock that can naturally destroy fat cells. If you’re looking to lose fat on your thighs, stomach, and arms or back in a quick and painless way, this is the solution for you. A typical CryoSkin slimming treatment lasts for 28 minutes.
A CryoSkin Facial treatment is commonly used for cold therapy facial treatments as well. These popular treatments widen blood vessels in the face (called vasodilation), which allows increased blood flow leading to more collagen production that decreases signs of aging or wrinkles. These treatments are known to improve the elasticity of the skin.
With this non-surgical facelift, you can see the results immediately after one session. The aging process is continuous, it does not stop, but the CryoSkin 3.0 facial can still help you. It can stimulate primary collagen production, lifts the face, and visibly reduce wrinkles to make you look younger and fitter.
CryoSkin Toning focuses on a single area at a time, although unlike Slimming, multiple areas can be targeted in a single session simultaneously. CryoSkin Toning leverages cold to improve microcirculation. It results in the boost in the production of collagen, which helps in eliminating cellulite & thus reduces some inevitable signs of aging.
If you’re looking to slow down the aging process or to remove cellulite, this is the treatment for you. It also speeds up your metabolism, which ultimately boosts your collagen production. CryoSkin is typically a 20 minute cold therapy treatment.
What are the benefits?
CryoSkin treatments offer three main benefits – Slimming, Toning & Skin Rejuvenation.

When will I see results? Is there anything I need to do?
Like most body treatments, the best CryoSlimming and CryoToning results occur after around 5 sessions. The first results are generally visible from the first session, though, and are often very encouraging. Results continue to appear from 2 to 3 weeks after the start of treatment and extend for many months. This is due to the loss of fat mass and a healthy diet & an active lifestyle. Lymphatic drainage techniques, which should be done once or twice a week between sessions, also has a part to play in it.
For even better results, our experts recommend that you should not consume sugar 2 hours before and after the session (up to 5 hours if possible), and it goes for all sugars, including slow-digesting ones found in rice, bread, pasta, cereals, etc. As you know, sugar is a vital power source for fat cells, and for successfully losing weight, sugar should be cut from your diet.
If you are wondering how it works, we’ll spare you all the technical terms and keep it simple. In the most basic sense, fat cells happen to be more sensitive to changes in temperature than other cells in your body. So when they are cooled, the water in the cells expands and breaks them. And when these cells die, they are passed out of the lymphatic system.
Are the Cryoskin treatments permanent?
Cryoskin Slimming/Fat Loss
It depends on person to person (especially on their lifestyle and diet), the result can be permanent! It is advisable to have 2-3 sessions 6 months after the end of treatment for maintaining the best results. Some people also choose to repeat the treatment every few years or as needed.
Cryoskin Toning/Slimming Cellulite Reduction
The treatment is more temporary for cellulite reduction and toning. The sub-freezing temperatures create vasodilation in the treated area, all the while boosting the production of collagen, which helps in breaking down the cellulite. Still, cellulite will return if there is no change in diet and exercise.
The results will last for several months, with only a few sessions. The treatment increases help in boosting collagen, which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles, close pores, and increases the elasticity of the skin, which gives you the ‘Cryoskin glow.’ However, as the aging process continues, the effect does not remain permanent.

How Often Can I use Cryoslimming for weight loss?
CryoSlimming for weight loss can be done once every 14 days. There is a physiological reason for this: when apoptosis occurs and some fat cells die, waste is formed. This waste will be eliminated by natural routes (blood, lymphatic system, and then urine). Metabolism must therefore be allowed to evacuate this waste without overloading the lymphatic system. Also, it takes 15 days for 80% of the fat cells from the session to pass out of the client's system. CryoToning treatments can be performed once every week.
Can I work out before and/or after CryoSlimming?
We don't recommend working out within 2 hours before a CryoSlimming session as this can make it difficult to cool the client down. Working out directly afterwards is fine.
How long is each treatment?
CryoSlimming sessions are generally around 34 mins. CryoToning sessions are 30 mins. CryoToning Facial sessions are 20 mins. Extended CryoSlimming sessions are around 45 min.
Can 2 treatments be done together?
Two CryoSlimming treatments cannot be done in the same sitting. Doing so can overwork and risk clogging up the liver.
Why can't I eat sugar before or after a Cryo treatment?
The reason for this is that sugar is a strong power source for fat cells. Carbs, such as pasta, rice, bread, cereals, fruit and alcohol quickly convert to sugar once consumed. The subzero temperature during the CryoSlimming treatment weakens the fat cells enough so that your body can eliminate them, but if you eat sugar, that will give the fat cells back immediate energy so the apoptosis effect will be less efficient or could even be completely cancelled out.
If possible, it would be best to avoid all kind of sugar for 4/5 hours before and after the CryoSlimming session but 2 hours is the minimum recommended time to get results.
What are the side effects?
There are few. Sometimes localized redness that disappears after a few hours. Sometimes some delayed onset muscle soreness that rarely exceeds 2 to 3 hours. There may also be some itching without consequences and often due to the reactions of certain cosmetic products used by clients. It is best not to use anything (i.e. strong lotions) before coming to do the treatment because some products can crystallize to the cold and cause discomfort. It is also normal after CryoSlimming sessions for clients to experience increased urination and/or change in urine color or smell.
Who is best suited for Cryo treatments?
The best body profile are clients that are not "fat" or overweight. The treatment is not for clients requiring weight loss but rather for the vast majority of those who have unsightly cellulite or fatty areas (often due to poor diet, poor lifestyle or a static workplace, for example). Best results are in clients no more than 30lbs overweight.
